Kingsland Drinks has developed a new range of high quality British wines that will bring a fresh look to the category. The quintessentially British-named Willow & Stone range comprises a white, rose and a rose fizz.
The range was created in response to research from Kingsland’s proprietary research tool WinePRO which shows a clear need for an affordable, fresh tasting wine for spontaneous occasions. During independent consumer research by Wirral Sensory Services, Willow and Stone was preferred both in terms of taste and appearance, with higher acceptance and greater purchase intent than either of the two category market leaders.
Jo Taylorson, Marketing Controller, Kingsland Drinks says: “We know from our research that the beginners, or millennials, are looking for wines that will suit multiple usage occasions; at home, dinner with friends or as a gift. Willow & Stone answers that need. We were also able to create a premium tasting fizz using our carbonation line which responds to the increased thirst for sparkling products.”
The range is well-priced with recommended retail price of £3.39 for the still and £3.99 for fizz and is available now.
