Having acquired Bottle Green in April 2015, Kingsland Drinks has now completed its strategic integration of the two businesses and will showcase its enhanced wine portfolio and wine credibility at this year’s London Wine Fair.

Providing staff, suppliers and customers with a single point of focus and full category solution, the integration fuses Kingsland’s existing expertise in manufacturing, logistics and marketing, with Bottle Green’s sales, producer relations and winemaking proficiency. The company is already well established within the UK wine industry, yet the integration represents a key stage in its journey to become the leading premier independent supplier of wine and spirits in the UK, specialising in providing a full category solution.

Managing Director of Kingsland Drinks, Andy Sagar, comments: “We’re thrilled to see the integration complete, just in time for this year’s London Wine Fair. Our customers are at the heart of what we do and we’ve made great investments to lay a foundation in line with their business objectives. From reopening Kingsland’s British Winery and investing in WinePRO consumer insight, to installing a new carbonation line, we have the capability to offer quality products and a breadth of service for our producer partners and customers alike.”

At London Wine Fair, Kingsland will showcase highlights of its expansive portfolio of over 100 brands from 13 countries, covering entry to super premium level, including Limestone Coast Wines, Borgo Molino Prosecco, Blue Nun, Langguth, Andrew Peace, Baron de Ley, Louis Moreau, Pascual Toso, Marisco and McManis. It will also be launching a new “Curious” brand of its own, offering consumers a less traditional yet more approachable way into the wine category.

This year, Kingsland Drinks will have a new exciting stand which will showcase Kingsland enhanced wine portfolio in different channels/sections, including the new on trade & independent range which was launched earlier this year.

With a rich heritage of over 60 years, Kingsland has always been a pioneer in the industry and its aim is to become the leading premier independent supplier of wine and spirits in the UK, specialising in providing a full category solution. Kingsland’s business now accounts for 10% of the total UK wine market and its annual sales volume stands at 90 million litres.
