Kingsland Wine & Spirits and Legacy Wines will be known simply as ‘Kingsland’ from 1st May, the Manchester-based company has announced.

Kingsland is today the UK’s leading independent solutions company.  Established in 1994 [please confirm if you’d like to use this date, or ‘established 50 years ago’ – ie. when the original company was established], it set up its agency division – Legacy Wines – in 2012 after the purchase of the assets of the Stratford’s business.

Managing Director Andy Sagar explains: “The last few years have been a period of positive development for us, from setting up our own brands and agency portfolio to installing a new bottling line and 42-tank bulk wine facility.  Bringing all the elements of our operation under one name helps us to communicate a very simple message: that Kingsland is an experienced, innovative, bespoke wine and spirits company.”

Kingsland will take its largest stand (Q40) to date at this year’s London Wine Fair to showcase its new corporate identity, growing agency and own brands portfolio and supply solutions.  Highlights include:

  • Shorn – the fun, quirky, premium range from New Zealand
  • McWilliam’s – Australia’s leading producer of wines from New South Wales
  • Marisco – The Ned range from one of New Zealand’s key producers
  • Tinto Figuero – Ribera del Duero Spain
  • Eresma – Spain
  • Borgo Molino Prosecco – Italy
  • JCM – France
